Kaiser will need to be the only pet in the home, as he can be conflicted when meeting other dogs and cannot live with cats, dogs, or small furries due to some guarding behaviours. He can be left for up to four hours, but potential adopters should be mindful that Kaiser has a history of shredding or eating blankets, bedding, and toys, so any items that could pose a foreign-body risk should be removed when he is alone. Our Training and Behaviour Team will provide guidance to help manage this and support Kaiser as he settles into his new home. Because of Kaiser’s background, home visits with our team will also help ensure a smooth and positive transition. With the right understanding, a calm home environment, lots of love, and regular brushing sessions, Kaiser has the potential to be a wonderfully loyal and affectionate companion. 🐾
