Lola is a super friendly, people-loving girl who will make a wonderful companion in the right home. She settles well when left alone and is housetrained, making her an easy addition to a daily routine. She travels well in the car and enjoys being close to her humans, often choosing to sit nearby and keep you company. She can be a little excitable, particularly on walks or around other dogs, so her new family should be prepared to continue working on her manners and help her stay calm in these situations. While she hasn’t mixed much with other animals, her excitement around dogs and tendency to chase cats will need to be considered. Lola responds well to guidance and would benefit from continued, consistent training to help her be the best version of herself. She’s used to a home environment and will thrive with adopters who can give her time, attention, and lots of love. Lola is a truly sweet, loyal girl with so much to offer, and we can’t wait to see her settled into a home where she can enjoy all the comforts, care, and cuddles she deserves. * This dog is currently being rehomed under our Homestay scheme. Under this scheme, the dog stays with their current owner until the point of adoption, when ownership transfers briefly to Dogs Trust and then to the new adopters. The benefits of Homestay for a dog are that it minimises disruption and prevents the dog having to come into kennels, however there is the potential the owner may pull out of the scheme prior to adoption. We understand the upset this may cause to potential adopters, and we work closely with owners to minimise the likelihood of this. However, it remains a possibility, and should this occur, Dogs Trust will prioritise finding adopters an alternative suitable dog.
