Luca is looking for a quiet and calm home with active adopters who can take him on lots of exploring, sniffy adventures in quieter walking areas and secure fields, who will advocate for his space when he needs and will give him all the love and attention he deserves. He can live with children aged 16 and over who are comfortable with a big, strong dog, children who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest and relax when needed. Luca is looking to be the only pet in the home so he can relax and enjoy all of his family’s attention to himself, he can be very worried by other dogs, so would like to go on walks in quieter areas, where he can explore at his leisure. This clever boy has so much training under his belt already but is eager to learn more, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit”, “paw”, “down”, “settle” and is muzzle trained to name just a few tricks he has already mastered. Luca would like a private garden with solid, high fencing to potter around and play in off lead, as he will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer for when he is out and about in public. Luca can settle nicely so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Luca will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home with potential home visits to make sure he is settling in well so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
