Melon is looking for her forever retirement home! She can live with secondary school aged children who understand she is an older girl and will need space to just relax at times. Melon would like to be the only pet in the home, so she can have all of the attention to herself, but is more than happy to share her strolls with some calm & polite walking buddies that don’t expect play or lots of interaction from her. She has her basic training and knows sit, paw & down, she loves her snacks so can be encouraged to learn more for a tasty treat. As she’s housetrained, she could live in a home with either a private or communal garden, or no garden given she has plenty of opportunity to go outside for toilet breaks. Once she’s settled into the home, Melon could be left for around 4 hours if built up positively & gradually. Due to her age, Melon does take some daily medication, which potential adopters will be given the details of upon being matched to her. Melon will need to meet her adopters a couple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
