Pax is such a sweet boy who came into Dogs Trust care due to his owner passing away but he has such big heart and would love to find a patient and understanding family that can help him settle back into home life. Pax can be a little nervous when new people approach him but with a calm approach of allowing Pax to say hello in his own time (and if a tasty treat is involved!) he soon comes around! When Pax gets excited he has been known to show puppy like behaviours like jumping up, humping and mouthing, our behaviour team can offer support to his new family for helping set him up for success in the home and for how to help him manage his excitement and learn alternative behaviours in a positive way. We feel he would be best suited to a quiet, adult only home with ideally no more than 2 people, where he can enjoy a calm, consistent routine where there is less chance he may become overexcited. Pax is on pain relief for some discomfort in his hips which is likely to be ongoing, we will be happy to provide more information on this if you are a match. Pax is a gentle sweetheart, with so much love to give, he will make a wonderful addition to the home for a family willing to help him learn some new skills and to help him keep on shining!
