My name is Angela Young and I am a resident of Steamboat Springs, Colorado (originally from Canada) I am a small scale Dachshund breeder. Tweezer started our LOVE for Dachshunds. Tela came into the family a few years later and then 6 months Twist joined. New additions to the family are Reprise and Windora Bug. They ALL love each other so much. Tela and Twist fell completely in love, consummating their relationship on my 50th birthday. The picture in the Santa suits was their wedding day as my boys wanted them to be married before the puppies arrived. Unlike most other breeders that house their dogs outside, I treat my dachshund puppies like pets living with me inside my home. Raising dachshunds has enriched my life in a variety of ways that I didn’t expect. I am typically recommended to others from my satisfied clients. Raising puppies is a huge part of my life. It completes me! Lady Dog Tela demonstrates AMAZING mothering instincts. All the dogs are considered part of the family and are treated as so—ie: heated beds, filtered water, classical music, regular vet check ups, personalized everything and an over abundance of love. They go EVERYWHERE with me. Our household is a calm & loving environment. These loving dogs are great with children and adults. These puppies have the potential to be award winning show dogs.
