Nancy Honea, owner at Austin Havanese Puppies is a hobby breeder of quality Havanese. Specializing in Chocolates. Located in Central South Texas. AHP is dedicated to raising well adjusted puppies, accustomed to all the sights and sounds of living in a home. We also live in the city, puppies born here have the added socialization of City sounds, sirens, vehicles etc. We believe the most important foundation of all relationships is trust. We handle all of our puppies daily from birth. Instilling in them trust for people. When puppies are 5 weeks, regular evening playtime is established before bedtime. A tired puppy sleeps better at night. Some pups even learn to play fetch before leaving for new homes. We temperment test puppies at 8 weeks of age then work with our awaiting puppy families to help them choose a puppy that best fits their families lifestyle and energy level.
