Battlefield Aussies and Miniature American Shepherds are from the heart of Virginia and breeds Miniature American Shepherds as well as Australian Shepherds. We started our breeding program in 2005 when we got our first mini. We produce puppies that have well rounded temperaments, healthy, and fit the standard for which they are breed. Each puppy we produce have puppy shots based on age, are started on crate training, are making progress on potty training, and come with an unlimited genetic hip, elbow, and eye guarantee. I breed to improve the breed. I don't innovate, but rather preserve what the standards dictate. Our breeding animals all have their hip and elbow testing completed, which is found on www.offa.org, and CERF testing on eyes. We also use additional testing on our animals to make sure we breed a better dog and select the best mates for our breeding. We pride ourselves by creating stronger and healthier dogs by using Puppy Culture. We also temperament test our puppies at day 49 to be sure we place the right puppy with the right family. We show our dogs and have multiple champions and grand champion. Our dogs have never shown in a ring full of kennel dogs/offspring. We send one dog out to show at a time and compete against other not our breeding/style. Therefore, we feel we earned our titles on merit. The offspring we have produced have and are participating in agility, obedience, rally, service, and conformation. Our dogs have fantastic temperaments and well on the way to a healthy attitude. Our goal is to breed happy, healthy, and adaptable puppies that will grow into well rounded dogs later. "Some of our puppies will grow to become great show dogs, but ALL will be great pets." We only have a 2 litters a year, and select new owners from our application process. We like to match puppies with owners. We don't sell breeding puppies. All puppies go on limited registration.
