Belleau Wood Hungarian Vizslas is a small, family-based kennel dedicated to preserving the Vizsla as a healthy, versatile, and devoted companion. Our dogs are raised in our home and on our rural property, where they are part of daily life and valued members of our family. We focus on sound temperament, structural correctness, athletic ability, and strong working drive, while ensuring our Vizslas excel as loyal, affectionate companions. Health testing, responsible breeding practices, and careful placement of puppies are central to our program. Our goal is to produce Vizslas that honor the breed’s heritage and thrive in both active households and loving family environments. Irish Boy’s Iron Mike is a well-built, confident male Vizsla with excellent drive, intelligence, and an eager-to-please temperament. He is affectionate with his family, steady-nerved, and social, while maintaining the athleticism and focus expected of the breed. Mike is OFA tested and is being Fast CAT trained, demonstrating both physical soundness and performance ability. He exhibits strong prey drive, endurance, and responsiveness, making him a versatile and well-rounded representative of the Vizsla breed. Mike passes on consistent temperament, structure, and enthusiasm for work, and is available to approved, health-tested females.
