Megan Applegate is from Kentucky and breeds Basset Hounds. As a child, my parents blessed me with basset hounds as pets. When I had my own family, the choice of dog was easy! I love bassets, and my children do as well. Mable and Milo are our pets, both available for cuddles when puppies are picked up. Our home is loud, chaotic and fun, meaning puppies are very socialized. They already enjoy a good puppy toy, plushy or blanket left on the floor. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
