Hi, my name is Tammy Brown, and I am the heart behind Carealot Papillons. I quite literally grew up in it. My journey began alongside my parents: my dad raising and showing Irish Setters and English Setters, and my mom devoted to Toy Poodles. From the very start, dogs were not just animals in our home—they were family, passion, and purpose. At just thirteen years old I knew I wanted collies to raise and show as my own! That year was when my dad brought home my first Collie. From that moment on, Collies became my focus, and I raised and showed them for decades, continuing that chapter all the way through 2024. Along the way, however, another breed quietly captured my heart. Around the year 2000, I fell in love with the Papillon—and that love quickly grew into a lifelong commitment. Over nearly fifty years of thoughtful, limited showing and breeding, I have been blessed to produce close to 75 champions, with many of my dogs ranking in the Top 10 nationally across conformation, obedience, rally, tracking, and other performance sports. For me, success has never been about ribbons alone. My dogs must be beautiful to look at, yes—but they must also be healthy, intelligent, soundly built, with excellent temperaments and capable of excelling both in the ring and in everyday life. Every dog I raise represents decades of knowledge, dedication, and love. I have worked tirelessly to achieve the quality, temperament, and structure that define Carealot dogs, and I take that responsibility very seriously. When one of my puppies leaves my home to join a new family, it is not an ending—it is the beginning of a lifelong relationship. When you welcome a Carealot puppy into your life, you become part of the Carealot family. I will always be here—for guidance, support, and for the well-being of every dog that carries my name. That promise doesn’t end when a puppy goes home; it lasts for a lifetime. 💛
