Casey Powell is from upstate New York and breeds Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We breed the small percentage of Corgis that cannot get the three most common Corgi diseases. Degenerative Myelopathy or DM is Lou Gehrig's disease in dogs. Our puppies cannot get this disease. They also cannot get a blood clotting disorder called von Willebrand's (vWD) or EIC, exercise induced collapse. We have been breeding Corgis for over 25 years. We also do not line or in breed. We supply you with an AKC extended pedigree to illustrate that our puppies are an outcross. We have a combination of bloodlines from some of the most accomplished show dogs from specifically Argentina, Lithuania, Australia, Germany etc... Our puppies are raised in our living room in our home and handled many times daily. When the puppies are old enough to "potty" outside - we take them out many times a day.
