Chatham Collies & Shetland Sheepdogs is a small hobby kennel where we breed top quality dogs. We have been breeding and exhibiting for over 40 years. Our income is not supported by selling dogs. The owner, Debbie Ferguson is an AKC licensed judge of Collies and Shetland Sheepdogs and member of the Collie Club of America, Member of Illiana Collie Fanciers and Chicago Collie Club, Collie Club of America Breed Mentor, and Interlocking Shetland Sheepdog Club of Monee. In limited breeding we have bred many Champions and won at the Collie National. We have diligently and successfully been breeding Collies with Genetic Normal Eyes without losing the quality of the dog. We are proud to have bred top quality Specialty winning Normal Eyed Champions. We have sold dogs to many other countries. They are given the expert care and conditioning that 40 years of experience and dedication brings. The puppies are Champion sired and the dams are usually Champions as well. All breeding stock has DNA testing for all Collie Health Issues. We offer puppy visit days from 2 weeks old till they go home where you help socialize the puppies. Our puppies come with a complete package ready to go to your home. The package includes first shots, eye checks by a certified ophthalmologist, veterinarian health check, AKC Registration, AKC Reunite Microchip, Pedigree, health record and an 8LB bag of Premium Puppy Food .
