Classic Gundogs is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country near Wimberley Texas. We breed German Shorthaired Pointers exclusively. As a breeder Classic Gundogs strives to maintain the highest breed standards. We produce great German Shorthaired Pointers that will develop into outstanding Gundogs in the field and loyal, intelligent family companions at home with the family. Our Shorthairs are easy to train, natural retrievers, energetic and possess the intelligent personalities of great bird dogs. Our GSP’s work close but are able to adjust their range according to command. Our Shorthairs are trained to find and hold point on Quail that we hunt in west Texas and Deep South Texas, with an occasional trip to Iowa/Nebraska to hunt Pheasant. They are easily managed but most of all they hunt for you, not just themselves.
