We have been raising purebred AKC Schnauzers for over 30 years and interview all our perspective owners. We DO NOT ship puppies. Our companion puppies sell on a limited contract with a health guarantee. To make sure they get the best start possible our puppies get their vaccinations (Parvo, distemper, flu, kennel cough….) at 5, 8 & 12 weeks. We also deworm at 4, 6 & 8 weeks and they are started on heart worm preventative at 12 wks and go home with a second dose for 16wks. Their tails are docked and dew claws removed at 48 hrs. Ear crops are done at 7 wks which is much easier on the dog than waiting until they are older to do it. (The ears can be left natural if that is your preference.) We microchip every puppy and then register the microchip with the National Registry, they will also be registered with AKC. When you get the puppy they will need a Rabies vaccination at 16 weeks and continuation of heartworm preventative from your local vet and any other vaccinations they recommends for your area. Our dogs live in the house with us, we start potty training at 5-6 weeks and the puppies are crate trained and sleeping through the night when they go home. What we end up with is a healthy puppy going into a happy home for long term success. All our perspective puppy families go through an interview and introduction process, We work to make sure that our puppies are going to fit into the dynamics of your household for a long happy life for all. We price our puppies during the interview process which starts with a questionnaire we ask you to fill out for us. We will have Show puppies as well as Companion puppies available.
