My name is Courtney Diwa and I'm the breeder behind Diwasou located in Marianna, FL. My husband and I are dedicated to preserving the breed as close to the Japanese standard and preference as possible. We are always willing to adjust our program if a potential prospect does not fit the Japanese standard or does not pass health testing requirements. Each Shiba we own and raise is loved dearly and treated as close family members , and if we do decide its better to part ways with them we ensure they go to the best homes. Puppy's potential families are also extensively screened. They come with spay or neuter contracts as well as a return to breeder. We want to have good relationships with our puppy buyers so that we can assist with any questions or concerns through out he puppy's life , as well as enjoy seeing the puppy grow up and be loved. We are transparent about each parent and puppy and we are very open about answering your questions and concerns. Members of The National Shiba Inu Club of America and Nihonken Hozonkai (NIPPO). Health is extremely important to us, I perform OFA and DNA testing to make sure I only have parents with clear results. This includes Eye exams (CAER) , Patellar Luxation, Hip Dysplasia, and GM1 gangliosidosis.
