Echowyn Shelties is located just outside Raleigh, North Carolina and has been breeding & showing Shetland Sheepdogs since the mid-1980's. I typically only have litters once or twice a year. All sires and dams have been health tested and test results are listed on ofa.org. I am, and have been a member of the local Shetland Sheepdog club and the national club for over 25 years. I have earned the designation of Silver Breeder of Merit with the American Kennel Club. While I participate mainly in conformation, my pets are equally suited for a family companions and participation in other AKC events. While it is not often that I have puppies available, I am the contact for breeder referrals for Shelties in NC . Message or email me for a referral list of NC breeders. All prospective puppy owners are encouraged to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. You should not only choose a breeder whose dogs are carefully bred and maintained, but also someone that you are comfortable with.
