Our love for the breed began in 2005 with the arrival of our first Portuguese Water Dog. Now we are hooked on this wonderful seafaring breed. Our foundation dogs are from Europe, and we are carefully integrating them with American lines. We are members of the PWDCA and Keystone Portuguese Water Dog Club. Our puppies are raised in our loving home by a veterinarian and dog trainer. We start handling the puppies from day 1, so that they become well socialized. As they grow and develop, we expose them to a large variety of sounds and stimuli. We also begin the foundations of house training, crate training, and basic commands. Before they go to their forever homes, our puppies receive an eye exam, microchip, AKC registration, veterinary check, regular worming, and start their vaccine series.
