Acquired my first borzoi in 1999 A rescue that was advertised in the newspaper...A seven-year-old male needing a home due to his owner’s death. I fell in love with not just him, but the breed. We met a community of “dog people” that were supportive of a newbie, these wonderful people became dear friends, and not just mentors of the dog show world. Starting with Mascha borzoi and moving forward with Majenkir and Raynbo bloodlines. Maskova borzoi has Produce national specialty winners , Regional specialty winners, But not forgetting that health and temperament is important. Marie Cotton of Spring valley has giving me the honor to carry on her Ridgebacks. Her world renowned Rhodesian Ridgebacks has given enormous amount of joy through the puppies she’s produced, dogs that are the foundation in many pedigrees, but also people’s beloved companions, which is the most important. Marie Cotton was awarded the hound breeder of the Year award in 2017 Please see pictures in the album. My husband and I donate our time to two Regional borzoi clubs,I’m currently the president of Borzoi club of greater NY Vice President Borzoi club of Delaware valley. Here is the secretary, for borzoi club of greater New York. Our all Breed club is Walkill Kennel club where Jim was the recording Secretary for five years. And I’m currently the AKC delegate. We also belong to Central New Jersey Hound Association, Delaware Valley hound Association and our parent clubs, Borzoi club of America, And Rhodesian Ridgeback club of America. We are Breeder's of Merit through the AKC and do Health testing of all our dogs in our breeding program. www.offa.org look under Maskova for borzoi Spring Valley for our Ridgebacks.
