About FaustHouse Havanese

FaustHouse is a small hobby breeding family that breeds and shows only Havanese. I strive to place healthy Havanese puppies into committed loving forever homes. My puppies are very dear to my heart, so they live in my home, not in a kennel or a facility building separate from my home. They are socialized with friends, family and other animals. My goal is to produce quality puppies that meet the AKC and HCA standards and guidelines for show conformation competitions. With each litter, I strive to create a better Havanese. I am not breeding for profit. I am the President of the Local Central Carolina Havanese Club, a member of the All-Breed club, Forsyth Kennel Club, a member of the Havanese Club of America, and a member of the Owner- Handler Association. Three things that make me different from your backyard breeder is: 1) I show my dogs in the AKC conformation ring to validate what I am producing is the standard show quality dog, 2) I completely fully health test all of my adult dogs that are used in my breeding program for congenital health defects and 3) I affiliate myself with other breeders and clubs that value AKC standards. Why only produce a dog to be a pet puppy? Any backyard breeder can allow nature to happen between 2 dogs to create something to sell. There are plenty of backyard breeders and puppy mills in the world that are just producing puppies as pets to sell for profit. I produce puppies for quality and health. When choosing a breeder, choose a Breeder of Merit that fully health tests their adult dogs used in their breeding program. They have put in time, money, effort, training, and love to help their dogs represent the breed they are producing to the best of their ability.
