Located near Harrisburg, PA, our family focuses on providing responsibly bred Entlebucher Mountain Dog and Labrador Retriever puppies focusing on health, temperament, breed preservation and proper breed conformation. We are expecting Entlebucher Mountain Dog Puppies in May 2026 and Labs in June 2026. (We do not breed Bernese or Greater Swiss Mountain dogs, I only put these in our profile being our breed is similar, maybe wanted by those puppy seekers, but people often do not know about the Entle) Our own dams and the sires we utilize are fully health tested per AKC and OFA breed recommendations. This includes genetic disease testing, hips, elbows, and eyes. We are located near Harrisburg, PA. Our dogs grow up with lots of area to run and play and we are excited to place our puppies in excellent homes where they will receive the same love that they enjoy at our home. Not only are they raised around children and have exposure to many sites, sounds, and experiences as they grow, we also begin potty training them using a bell they ring at the door. This technique has worked great for our dogs so we have continued to pass it along with our puppies. You will be taught how to continue and complete the training we started. We ensure each puppy gets lots of social interaction from children and adults as we love them daily ourselves and allow waiting families to visit and interact with the puppies. We introduce pups to crate training by bringing them into our home in small groups and one on one to get used to the home environment and being away from their litter. Finally, early neurological stimulation, is just a fancy word for purposefully handling puppies by doing 5 different daily exercises with each pup for the first two weeks of its life - we make a point to include this in our daily puppy handling! Everyone is familiar with Labs but not so familiar with Entlebucher Mountain dogs. Entlebuchers range from 50-65lbs, live 11-13 years generally, and tend to have few health problems compared to their sister breeds the Bernese and Swiss Mountain dog. Entles are short haired and tend to shed once a year and not much in between. They are very lovey and loyal with their families, happy to be by your side whatever your doing! Entlebuchers are protective in that they will alert you of something new with a bark (they do not continually bark though luckily), but they are not aggressive. Instead, Entles tend to be more reserved with strangers taking a little while to warm up but then wanting to be their friends (its kind of nice not being licked to death:). Entles love playing with toys in the yard and have a hilarious way of entertaining themselves, yet they can chill and nap in the house. They are very smart and excel at having a job or competing in scent/nose work or agility. Most important to them though is their people, they love being at your side! Call or text us! Ask Questions!
