About Gaia Goldens

I have owned and loved Golden Retrievers for about 25 years, after adopting my first Golden rescues (Cosmo and Sadie Mae) from people who could no longer care for them the way they deserved. After many years of involvement with AKC dog sports as well as local and national clubs (I currently serve as Director At Large for the Atlanta Golden Retriever Club), we finally decided to produce some of our own pups (in limited fashion) so that we could contribute to this spectacular breed and build our own small program - Gaia Goldens. We will not produce a litter without keeping a puppy for ourselves and our program (including conformation and other sports). New puppy families benefit from this non-commercial approach in terms of getting a dog that was carefully bred for structure, pedigree, health, and temperament. We've spent a great deal of time and effort learning about the breed and strive to offer the highest quality pups possible. More specifically, we seek to produce dogs who are gentle and loyal companions while also being fit and intelligent, with the potential to excel in a variety of activities. Our primary goal for pet puppies is to ensure that each one is placed in an enriching and loving home!
