About Gansett Labs

Our names are Justin and Jody Waranis and we are from Rhode Island and breed Labrador Retrievers. We began breeding labs 24 years ago in our home in Narragansett. This will be our 9th litter since 2002 as a family breeder. We have owned 7 Labradors in the course of our lives. We are proud to say we have owned 3 generations of champion bloodline females. Our black female Katy passed away 3 years ago and we still have her chocolate daughter Erin (retired) and are currently breeding Erin's beautiful, smart, sweet and loyal chocolate daughter Amber Waves. Amber is 3 years old. Amber's dad is also an extremely smart handsome black lab named Bowen who lives with a family from Cranston, RI. We also own of the most gorgeous GIANT lovable yellow Stud dog named Duke. This will be Duke's last litter as we plan to retire him this summer. Needless to say we are very excited for you to meet Amber and Duke's2nd litter of pups. We have 3 adult children who are also very involved in our litters. Our puppies are raised in a family environment and will live with us in our living room at all times. The families who have our puppies have adopted from us on multiple occasions (last litter 8 of the 10 were repeat families) They also have made referrals for other families. So in essence we are a friends and family Breeder. We feel our dogs reputations speak for themselves. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. Dogs will leave our home to yours with a clean bill of health, deworming, and first shots. PRICING $3,000 The litter will be AKC registerable and you will receive paperwork to register your puppy with the AKC. We keep a list of interested buyers. There is no cost to be on the list. We just need your email so we can add you to our first email introducing the litter gender/color availability. Iif you are interested - we will take a refundable $500 deposit. Then we will share pics and videos and you can pick a date and time for you to come meet the puppies around 5 to 6 weeks old. If you fall in love then a 50% deposit is required for your pup. Puppies can go to their forever homes at 8 weeks and after their first vet check and shots. $3,000 Limited AKC Registration.
