Nikki is located in Colorado and breeds European Doberman Pinschers. We started our AKC journey in 2013 when we began showing in AKC conformation with another breed and very much enjoyed this for many years. However, the breed we had been showing during that time was not a good fit for our active lifestyle so we ended up moving to the doberman which is able to join us on mountain hikes, join us for lunch in town and keep us company while doing chores around our farm. We have a major focus on the health and mental balance in the puppies we produce so we put these things at the top of our list without losing focus on the conformation of the dogs which gives them the ability to have long healthy lives. Our dogs are fully Embark tested clear and have their OFA's done before being bred to ensure we are doing our due diligence to only producing healthy puppies. Our puppies are started off right with early neurological stimulation training and continuing with puppy culture while raised in our home and under foot. When weather is nice and they are big enough they do have access to play outside in the grass to enjoy being a dog. Their tails and ears are done by a licensed Doberman specialist vet here in Colorado that uses a laser in order to avoid unnecessary scaring and lowering the risk of possible infection, she does beautiful crops to the length desired by the buyer. Unless otherwise requested we do a medium show crop with no bell. The puppies are socialized by adults and children as well. We follow a strict veterinary recommended biosecurity protocol to ensure the health of the puppies as well as keeping puppies on a 2 week deworm schedule starting at 2 weeks old. Our puppies receive their first round of puppy shots and are microchipped prior to leaving for their new homes. We release puppies to their new homes after 8 weeks of age. Puppies ears are done at 7 weeks old so that they have a week of healing before going home. (families are able to decide if they want natural or cropped ears on their puppy). Puppies come with AKC papers, vet check, first round of shots, 30 days AKC pet insurance, written health contract guarantee, puppy packet along with some of the food that they are used to in order to allow a smoother transition to the puppy food of your choice and dont forget they come microchipped.
