Amanda is from Ohio and breeds Australian Shepherds. When I met my husband, I not only gained my best-friend-for-life, but I got to know the most amazing dog breed I've ever met! My husband had a beautiful blue merle named Daisy, and I fell completely in love with her! Her waggly stub tail, the way she would "sploot" or "frog-leg" as different people call it, and how incredibly personable and smart she was had me hooked! She could even smile, and had been featured in an advertisement for a local dog groomer! She was a purebred (though he had not requested her paperwork), and while her first litter was unexpected, we LOVED raising her little brood and watching the families joy as they took home an Aussie to make a part of their family. Since then we have acquired our AKC dams, and our own AKC stud. All of our puppies' parents live here with us on our small farm, around our young children and menagerie of animals. We are proud to be a part of keeping the purebred Aussie breed alive and spreading the love for these amazing working dogs! Our children are young, and a couple of our Aussies were not raised around children. It astounded me how gentle they were from the moment they met my first born as a newborn! All of our puppies are dewormed regularly, and are examined by a veterinarian at 8 weeks old. They're given their first round of vaccines at their visit with the vet, and if they happen to be with us later and are due for their second round we will administer those as well. Health paperwork, a bag of puppy chow, and registration papers are sent home with each puppy. We do not limit registration. Tails are docked, dew claws removed. We have a few litters every year, so keep us in mind if you're looking for a family member that will keep you laughing, warm your heart, astound you with their cleverness, comfort you when you're down, and make your world a better place!
