Jill Steuber is from Michigan and breeds Bichon Frise. While I do not show myself due to physical disabilities, I do ensure the quality of the Bichon breed. The lines I breed have championship bloodlines and hold high standards of the breed. When placing puppies I am very careful to ensure an appropriate forever home for each puppy. A contract is required to purchase a puppy from JM's Bichons. All puppies are sold with limited registration. You are able to register your new puppy with AKC, as both parents are AKC Registered. However, you are unable to breed your puppy in the future to have AKC Registered offspring. This is common practice with professional breeders. This practice is to reduce the number of irresponsible breeders and puppy mills. All puppies purchased from JM's Bichons are health cleared by a licensed vet before going to their new home. They are dewormed and have their first vaccine before going to their forever home as well. The contract required for purchasing a JM's Bichon puppy also includes a return to breeder, if an unfortunate situation occurs that prevents the new owner from maintaining their puppy in their home. This is for the lifetime of the puppy. No questions will be asked and the breeder will take the dog back regardless of the situation. No refunds are provided. The breeder will maintain the dog and update medical care until a new forever home can be identified. While this practice is rarely needed, there are unforeseen situations that do require the use of this practice at times. The primary goal of JM's Bichon's is to ensure all puppies are placed in loving forever homes. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
