I have owned a dachshund of some type since I was 14 years old. I have bred dachshunds for over 45 years and showed them in conformation championship competition for about 20 years. At that time, I had longs, smooths and wires. I currently only raise longhair miniatures with the primary colors being clear cream and shaded cream. I achieved Breeder of Merit status when showing my dogs and completing championship titles on multiple dogs bred or co-bred by me. All my pups are born and raised in my home and get a vet check at 8 weeks old. They are well socialized and potty training is started when they leave me at 9 weeks or older. They all come with a 2 year health guarantee against any genetic defects of the eyes, liver, lungs and kidneys. I prefer to place my puppies in pet homes but will consider a breeder/show home for the right person.
