About Kathleen Tawney

Kathleen Tawney is from Ohio and breeds West Highland White Terriers. I have been breeding Westies for 16 years now. These puppies are like my four legged children. They are told how much they are loved from birth. Because of this they are extra affectionate and loving little puppies. They are raised in our home, not in a kennel. They are very social when they go to their new families. I keep in close contact with their new families for several weeks after they leave to make sure they are eating well and adjusting well to their new homes. I continue to receive pictures and video's well into their adult years! I really love these little guys. I am a retired nurse and these little animals bring me so much joy! I am blessed to be able to do this. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
