My Mom and I fell in love with Havanese dogs over 17 years ago. They are truly a special breed. So loving and perfect for any family especially those with pet allergies- Havanese are hypoallergenic! She has had the female and bred her a few times with our male. Eight years ago we decided to buy a chocolate AKC Havanese female (Kona - now retired) and a chocolate AKC Havanese male (Balto) to breed. Over the past few years we added Charlie (now retired), Kahlua (Kona and Balto's daughter - Now retired), Poppy and Daisy (Charlie and Balto's daughters) and Beau (new stud to breed with Kahlua, Poppy and Daisy) to our breeding family. Beware! Havanese dogs are addicting! They are like chips... you can't have just one :) They are so fun to watch when playing with each other! This is a small hobby with our family. We take great pride in raising these puppies in the "puppy area" in our living room. They are part of our family from the beginning. We spend a lot of time with each precious puppy to ensure they are well socialized and want to be loved on by everyone. They also have a solid start with potty training on paper. I've had lots of great feedback from previous buyers on how well they transfer over to potty training at their new home.
