We are a small Hobby Kennel located in Black Hawk, SD. Our philosophy is to maintain the Shiba Inu as originally intended in Japan. our facebook page is Kuro Oka Shibas We show in AKC dog shows and all of our adult Shibas are Champions and or Grand Champions. We also run our Shibas in Fastcat competition.

The Shiba Inu is a compact, agile spitz-type dog originally bred to flush birds and small game through dense mountain undergrowth in Japan. The smallest of the six native Japanese breeds, the Shiba is prized for its independent, confident temperament and fox-like appearance.
