As a lifelong bird hunting enthusiast and dog lover I decided that I wanted to share the joy of both. My son and I would invite anyone who was interested along with us on our trips. After dozens of inquiries if puppies were a possibility. I contacted the breeder that my GSP's came from and with their guidance and my own research decided that this was something that I would love to do. In 2016 we ordered puppies from breeders who shared our desires in a bird dog. Intelligent, cooperative, affectionate, able to find birds, remain on point, back (honor another dog's point), retrieve on land and water while staying in a close to medium range for a foot hunter. But probably most importantly since a hunting dog is a family dog for the greater part of the year and they had to live in the house, they also needed to have manners when inside. The off switch, the ability turn the explosive energy they exhibit in the field off when it's time to get in the truck and go home was a must. After multiple litters with positive feedback we are confident that our puppies will check all of those boxes. And if you are looking at this breed then you already know that they are stunning and they turn heads wherever they go.
