I started my involvement in the dog world with my first Irish Setter in 1973. I have continued to breed and successfully show Irish Setters for the past 48 years under the Lanascol prefix - now having 9 NZ Grand Champions (a New Zealand Grand Champion requires the dog to have 50 Best Dog or Bitch awards plus 3 Best in Show All Breeds). 3 of these have gone on to become Supreme Champions since the award was introduced here.
