Von den Schimmelreiterspitzen ist eine private Zuchtstätte für Großspitze, die es seit 2016 gibt. Wir sind seit 2012 Mitglied im „Verein für Deutsche Spitze e.V.“ gegr.1899 (VDH&FCI) und haben das Ziel, die Großspitze nicht aussterben zu lassen. Ja, Großspitze sind inzwischen eine Rarität, sodass ihr Fortbestand gefährdet ist. Mit verschiedenen Maßnahmen versucht der Verein für Deutsche Spitze e.V. dagegen zu steuern. Mit Carla, der Begründerin der Schimmelreiterspitzfamilie, und ihren Töchtern Anouk und Boje und Enkelin Alea wollen wir dazu beitragen, dass es auch weiterhin wunderbare Großspitze gibt.
