My name is Denise and I'm the breeder behind Mayhew German Shepherds located in Beaverdam, Virginia. My breeding pairs are strategically chosen to better the breed. I have working line dogs that are high drive, high energy, and require experienced handlers; all puppies from this line will be high drive, high energy and excel in scent, protection, and sports. In contrast, I also breed WGSL dogs that are low-medium drive, low-medium energy and are best suited to companion/therapy/service homes. All of our puppies are whelped and raised in our home. We utilize puppy culture to create the foundation that he/she will need to succeed in the world. All of our dogs are health-tested for HD/ED and DM. We prioritize success in all of our puppies by actively engaging in ENS and ESI and continuing the training process until the day they leave our home for their new family.
