The Merveille prefix was established in 2001 by Dr Kay Sanderson. Kay has loved and lived with briards for over 25 years. Merveille is an ancient French word meaning marvellous which indeed briards are. In 2019 Kay bred for the first time with her beautiful, friendly, fawn girl, Freya, officially Tiahart Miss Monroe. In an endeavour to increase the gene pool in Australia. Kay imported semen from a beautiful black briard boy from Belgium. His name is Marco Polo du Coeur des Tresors, owned by Pegg
