MIBRE BASENJIS AKC Breeders of Merit | Dedicated to Health, Heritage, and Heart Our History & Heritage My journey in the world of competitive dog sports began in 2006, leading to our very first litter in 2007. What started with a deep love for the English Bulldog evolved into French Bulldogs and eventually led me to the breed that captured my soul: the Basenji. In 2015, I was introduced to the Basenji under the expert mentorship of Michelle. Today, I am proud to carry on the legacy she passed to me. MIBRE Basenjis can now be found across many generations and pedigrees, representing a lineage of excellence that we strive to protect every day. Education & Expertise We believe a great breeder never stops learning. Beyond our primary breeds, we have spent years co-breeding Beagles, Bulldogs, and Brussels Griffons alongside respected mentors. This diverse experience has provided a masterclass in canine structure and temperament, all fueling my ultimate goal of becoming an AKC Judge. As AKC Breeders of Merit and active members of AKC Parent Clubs and multiple Specialty Clubs, we operate at the highest standards of the sport.
