About Michi Akitas

Cheryl Mitchell is located in North Carolina and breeds Akitas.  She is a small breeder with a primary interest in producing good sound Akitas for show or just for a welcome addition to your family.  She has raised Akitas since the year 2000 and treats all of her Akitas like family members which makes all of her pack very well socialized.  She calls her kennel Michi Hilltop Akitas.   Michi means "the path" in Japanese.  This is where she wants to stay in her everyday life in everything she does; including breeding. Cheryl Mitchell is on "the path" to breed good sound akitas with excellent temperaments. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
