Laural Harris is from Texas and Southern Missouri. They train, show and breed Doberman Pinschers. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. Our primary mission in our breeding program is to produce exceptional temperaments, excellent health and beautiful conformation with nice strong bone structure (so that they are as versatile as the standard states and are able to perform in any arena). All puppies are different, even from the same litter, as you know.  Ours are raised in our home and live 'under our feet'.  Even though it says 'Doberman Kennels' we are not a kennel setting.  We raise them in our home so they are ready for their forever home with house manners and somewhat of an understanding of how we human operate :) All of the babies are unique with their own personalities and by living in the house, we get to watch them develop, guide them and expose them to lots and lots of different stimuli, so that many things are not 'scary' or 'strange', & they are not afraid of loud or weird noises, etc. We also expose our puppies to a variety of socialization experiences, lots of different people, places and other animals. We do puppy evaluation (aptitude) testing at 49 days, so that we can most closely fulfill the prospective new family's expectations.  The right family with the right puppy, From protection & detection, show ring & obedience/agility, to therapy and service dogs.  Our goal is that they are ready for their new world with your family when they leave our home to become part of yours.
