Out West Bassets is located on our family ranch in southeastern Arizona. With the help of our four kids, we raise some of the nicest Basset Hounds around. Our dogs are health tested, shown, and conform to the breed standard as defined by the Basset Hound Club of America. Our puppies are raised in a family environment. With supervision, our children carefully handle the pups from the day they are born. As the Basset babies grow, they learn to use a litter box and a dog door; both are helpful in house training. Most of our pups consistently go outside to potty by the time they are eight weeks old. As the puppies grow, they are introduced to cats, cattle, horses, chickens, dogs of different breeds, helicopters, and people of all different ages, shapes, and sizes. There is always a lot happening on the ranch, and the pups benefit from all the sights and sounds in a safe and controlled setting. Our puppies are under the care of our wonderful vet, wormed regularly, and vaccinated following Dr Dodd's Vaccine Protocol. A one-year health guarantee covers each puppy, so you are confident that your investment is a smart one. We love helping others bring this special breed into their homes so they can enjoy the goofy antics, velvet ears, and luxurious wrinkles as much as we do.
