About Pleasant Ridge
We are a small AKC show home located in the country. We will occasionally have a puppy available as a pet. We breed to the A.K.C. standard and strive to have beautiful, healthy babies who are socialized. Our "Pet Quality" puppies are placed in loving homes where they will not be shown and will be given limited AKC registration papers being spayed or neutered before leaving or after proof of neuter or spay. There are many things that we consider when evaluating a puppy for show and what we are looking for to carry on our breeding program. The term "Pet" should never imply that the dog is inferior regarding health or temperament. We are a "AKC Breeder of Merit" and also a member of The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, Bluebonnet Yorkshire Terrier Club, and Brazos Valley Kennel Club.
