I have owned, breed, competed and hunted with German Wirehaired pointers in Western Australia for the last 30 years. Our wirehairs have competed in the show ring, retrieving and field trials and have always done exceptionally well in all aspects as expected of a true utility dog. I am a strong believer that like our European counterparts that dogs should perform well in both show and hunting.
