About Reinem-N-Kennels

Welcome to Reinem-N-Kennels, a breeder of Australian Shepherds with over 20 years of experience. We are located in Ruther Glen, Virginia. We live on 750 acres with three ponds, and horses where our dogs have room to run, play, swim, and experience the abundance of wildlife and different sounds. Over these last 20 years, beyond living and working with our Aussies, we started breeding and showing them. The commitment, time, and the effort put into our dogs has helped to develop a significant amount of knowledge about Australian Shepherds. Our dogs are an extension of our family and come with a great deal of responsibility. They become a lifetime commitment not only for the families that own a new puppy but also the breeders as well. We strive to produce happy, healthy Aussies with correct conformation, sound movement, lovely temperaments and solid, well-rounded minds. Our main focus is producing Aussies that meet the breed standard, and are competitive in the show ring, performance venues, and also make wonderful family companions. These Aussies are a representation of our blood line and we take pride in making the right decisions to produce reputable and high quality puppies. It is only through extensive health testing, pedigree research, work with other reputable breeders, and informed decisions that have guided us along the way. Our dogs have exactly what they need to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Our dogs meet and greet people in our travels and are very social with other dogs. They also show in conformation AKC events and have achieved high levels of success.
