Melisssa McCrary Dowdy is from North Carolina and breeds American and French Brittanys. With over 27 years experience of owning bird dogs we strive to raise well built, healthy, happy dogs with good temperments, natural ability, and excellent bloodlines that perform well in the field for foot hunters and in the home as pets. We breed for dogs who are hard hunters, have bird sense, retrieve naturally, and range close enough for hunters who hunt on foot. All of our dogs have an off switch when it is time to come inside and settle down making them wonderful family pets as well. Our Brittanys are my personal hunting dogs and pets. We raise AKC American Brittanys and AKC/UKC French Brittanys. We are dedicated to improving the American Brittany and preserving the French Brittany. Our American bloodlines include 32X NSTRA HOF Nolan's Last Bullet, NFC DC AFC HOF Gambler's Ace in the Hole, and FC AFC The Time Machine. Our French bloodlines include CH Tatoo Du Bois Courcol TAN3 HUNT1, Ultra De La Source Aux Perdrix, GRCH GRCHF Vernon De L'Escarbot TAN, CHF GRCH NBOB Des Plaines' J'Ai Ceci TAN WRT, and GRCHF CH Fergus Sur Le Delavan TAN WRT. We have sold dogs to Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia as hunting buddies and family companions.
