Sara Dellorto is from Florida and breeds Havanese. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. I have bred & shown Great Danes for many years, but started looking for a smaller breed and found havanese. Havanese are a remarkable breed - their primary purpose in life is to be a companion to their owners. These dogs wake up happy and are a constant source of entertainment and joy. My dogs compete in AKC conformation to be sure they represent a havanese as they should be and that their general appearance meets the AKC standard for a havanese. They also compete in performance, obedience and agility - because they are an intelligent breed and can do anything their owners train them to do. Above all, my dogs live in our home and are part of our lives. They are show dogs, yes, but they are also pets. We love to keep in touch with the owners who bring home our puppies, and we love to have them continue to visit us throughout the years.
