My first Rhodesian Ridgeback was only half RR: Ridgeback/German Shepherd back in the late 1980's. His name was Bud. I have had other breeds over the years, but Bud was by far the best dog I ever had. I knew it was the Ridgeback in him. I had longed for a full Ridgeback for years, but waited until I knew the time was right, because I would have more than one when I did. Over the years I researched and learned a lot about genetics, and coupled it with my intense interest in this breed. My fascination in science provided me with insight regarding the genetics of this breed that many breeders lack and/or are unaware of. I utilized my knowledge when I sought out my beautiful boy and girl, Koios and Phoibe. My goal is to increase my pack with quality variations within different pedigrees with intentions to combine my quality dogs and produce excellent Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies to continue this breed that is loved so much. My life revolves around my dogs. They live in my home with me. Anyone that knows me can tell you, my dogs are my life, my family. I do not have a website, but have a Facebook group page (Southpaw Rhodesian Ridgebacks) to make posting updates, pics and videos more efficient. I post frequently and keep everyone well informed almost daily on the puppies and all my dogs. Feel free to join!
