We are a small hobby kennel breeding Miniature American Shepherds (aka. Miniature Australian Shepherds ) in middle Tennessee (Murfreesboro). I typically have two-three litters per year. I've owned and raised Australian Shepherds since the early 1990's. I got my first Miniature American Shepherd, Prada, in 2013 and have never looked back! They are half the size of standard Australian Shepherds but with all of the beauty, intelligence and playfulness still intact! This breed makes a wonderful family pet but also needs to have room to run and exercise so a fenced yard and basic obedience training is a must. My dogs are health tested, raised with "Puppy Culture" Methods, and raised in the house. They are given enrichment opportunities everyday with new experiences and toys introduced in a flow of behavioral cultivation. Several of my dogs have AKC CGC titles, therapy dog titles and I am actively training them year round in obedience (clicker training), Rally, Herding, Tricks, and Lure coursing etc. Several Stones River MAS have gone on to title in Conformation, Rally, Agility, Lure Coursing and have tested for herding ability and done well.
