I have been involved with Bernese Mountain Dogs since 2009. Over the years I have had numerous dogs from various preservation breeders. My early years were focused on stud dogs while I learned about breeding from mentors who have been in the breed 20-30 years. In 2021 I took a bitch puppy back from a breeding by my stud. She produced my first litter in January of 2025. This litter more than met my expectations. My purpose in breeding is to preserve the Bernese Mountain Dog and try to increase health span while maintaining the perfect Berner temperament that I started with. A balanced sound dog with type, desire to work and that moves with ease is important to me. I can't guarantee perfect health and a specific lifespan, but extensive research is put into each litter to increase the odds of long lived healthy dogs. I keep all of my dogs up to date in Berner Garde - the public database for all Bernese Mountain Dogs. I am a member of the BMDCA, Buckeye BMDC, Heart of Michigan BMDC and am a Berner Garde database operator.
