My wife and I set out to be hobby breeders a couple of years ago. We purchased two sable females and one buff male. The male has the Merle gene-so we felt like we might get some interesting appearancesfrom the puppies., and we think it turned out to be true. You’ll probably notice from the pictures of the parents that we don’t believe in the traditional cocker spaniel cut. We love their little curly mop tops, which is why we just trim the top of their head. We believe it’s up to the individual owner to decide for themselves what’s appropriate for their pups? These little babies have been a complete joy, and we hope to continue doing this for the next few years.
