At The Copper Cottage Canines, our breeding program is built on purpose, not volume. We focus on producing well-rounded Giant Schnauzers with strong working ability, stable temperament, and the structure needed for long, healthy lives. Each pairing is carefully planned with health, genetics, and temperament as the foundation. Our dogs are selected for clear heads, strong nerves, natural drive, and the ability to think and work while remaining biddable and social in everyday life. We do not breed solely for titles or looks—our goal is functional dogs that can excel in sport, protection, work, and active family environments. Our dogs live with us and are part of our daily routine. Puppies are raised in a hands-on environment where they are exposed to people, surfaces, sounds, and age-appropriate challenges from an early age. This early foundation helps build confidence, resilience, and adaptability before they ever leave for their new homes. As trainers, we evaluate each puppy individually and work to match them with the right home based on temperament, drive, and the owner’s goals. Whether the puppy is destined for sport, working protection, or an active companion home, we prioritize the right fit for both the dog and the family.
