M.J. Cohen is from eastern Pennsylvania and breeds Great Danes and Lakeland Terriers. M J has bred and owns multiple Best In Show dogs. He has bred over 120 AKC Champions over 5 decades including multiple champions and grand champions in each of the following AKC recognized Great Dane Breed colors: HARLEQUIN, MANTLE, BLUE, BLACK, FAWN and BRINDLE and multiple Lakeland terrier champions and grand champions . Every dam and sire used for breeding is free of any known defect regarding cardiac, hip, thyroid and opthalmic health issues for a minimum of five generations. His top priority for every breeding decision made is TEMPERAMENT followed by HEALTH, LONGEVITY and STRUCTURE AND CONFORMATION for the show ring. All of his danes and Lakeland terriers live in his home as integral members of his family; he will not sell to a kennel or any other environment where the dane or lakeland will not be an integral member of the household and family. His many champions and grand champions have been breeder-owner handled to their champion titles by him. He has been an AKC licensed judge of multiple breeds for 30 years and has been awarded the Great Dane Club of America Top Breeder award multiple times.
